In one of the closest grand final encounters in junior touch history, it was the kids from Brothers that took home the trophy in the 12's Mixed competition.
For most of the match, the score stayed locked at 1-1, with plenty of scoring opportunities denied due to the tough defence from both sides.
After finally managing to crack the almost impenetrable defence from the Redskins side, Brothers crossed the scoreline late in the second-half to take them to a 2-1 lead, and put them in position to claim the match.
Referees for the match were Jack Dreihius, Lachlan Carey, and Makenzie Weier, and Brothers Player Tara Kelly was named player of the match for her outstanding efforts on-field.
The 14's Mixed competition was claimed by Brothers Blue, after Sharks Spartius Blue unfortunately had to forfeit due to players being on school holidays.
