The Townsville Touch Referees Association is running two introductory referee courses this season, so that you can learn the basics of refereeing touch football.
The courses, held in time for the start of the upcoming summer season of touch footy, are aimed at new referees and teach participants the basic rules of touch football, as well as basic signals, positioning, and communication techiques.
Course 1: Sunday 13 August 2023, 9am - 1:30pm
Course 2: Saturday 2 September 2023, 9am - 1:30pm
(Participants only need to attend one course)
All courses are free to attend, and are a combination of self-paced online learning and a four (4) hour face-to-face session.
