The coaching appointments across various age groups highlight commitment to nurturing both skills and sportsmanship among young athletes. The newly appointed coaches, comprising both experienced and emerging leaders in the sports community, include Brenton Snelling and Darren Ward taking charge of the Under 12 Boys Blue (A) team, while the Under 12 Boys Green (B) will see Daniel Spargo and Damien Mott at the helm.
Female teams have also seen an inspiring selection of coaches. Danielle Goodwin will lead the Under 12 Girls Blue (A) team with a vision for dynamic gameplay and teamwork, whereas Kyle Woolfe, assisted by Hannah Sinclair, will bring their strategic insights to the Under 12 Girls Green (B) team.
Seasoned coaches like Yvonne Searle and Amanda May for the Under 14 Girls Blue (A), and Michael Parsloe guiding the Under 14 Boys Blue (A) highlight a focused approach towards building future leaders and skilled players. Similar dedication is mirrored in each team, right up to the Under 18 squads directed by Kayla Pike (Under 18 Boys) and Francis Witt (Under 18 Girls).
Engagement with the community and a passion for development have always been the cornerstone of the Townsville Saints programme. With these appointments, the teams look forward to not only competitive success but also enhancing the holistic development of young players. The coaches are slated to start selecting players in the coming weeks, and players will be announced in mid-May.
